Following the release of a product to market, Brainboxes is committed to ongoing improvements in functionality, manufacturing, environmental impact and availability. As part of this commitment, our products may need to be modified or updated.

Description of Changes
What's changing?
As of January 1st 2026, Brainboxes began a company-wide rebrand, which includes updating all our products to a unified look. Only the appearance of our products is changing. The sections below show products from the Brainboxes range before and after the rebrand.
The new look covers the following:
- Brainboxes logo and front-panel graphics
- Product and serial number labels
- Packaging and printed documentation
What isn't changing?
Everything that affects how you design in, install and use our products stays the same:
- Part numbers and ordering codes
- Hardware, electrical and environmental specifications
- Dimensions, mounting and connector positions
- Firmware, drivers and configuration software
- Certifications and approvals
- Our Built for Life Warranty and Connected for Life support
What this means for you
No action is needed. You can keep ordering, installing and using our products exactly as you do today.
- Phased change-over: each product moves to the new look on its own schedule within the change-over period, so there's no single change-over date.
- Mixed deliveries: during the transition you may receive old-look or new-look units, sometimes in the same order. Both are fully interchangeable.
- Your own documents: if your assembly instructions, inspection records or product literature show photos of our products, you may want to update them as new-look units arrive.

The BB-400 hasn't yet been rebranded. This PCN will be reissued once this has been completed.

Embedded Products
Our embedded products are supplied uncased (without an enclosure):
- SW range: SW-104, SW-105, SW-108, SW-114, SW-115, SW-118, SW-125, SW-135, SW-184 and SW-195
- PE range: PE-205, PE-405, PE-415, PE-505, PE-508 and PE-515
As there's no enclosure, these products have no front-panel artwork to update. Their serial number labels, packaging and printed documentation will still move to the new look like the rest of our products.
