The Brainboxes BB-400 NeuronEdge Controller is an industrial-grade smart edge controller designed for Industry 4.0 applications. Built around the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ with an Arduino co-processor, the BB-400 provides a robust platform for industrial automation, data acquisition, and IoT connectivity.
The device combines multiple connectivity options including dual Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a configurable serial port within a compact DIN-rail mountable enclosure. The integrated UPS functionality using supercapacitors ensures graceful shutdown during power interruptions, protecting data integrity and system reliability.
