17 October 2026. The first stable release of BB-Eco, for Windows.

BB-Eco replaces Boost.IO Manager and Boost.LAN with one app for every Brainboxes networked device. In 1.0.0 it:

Finds your devices on the local network as soon as it opens, and can scan an address range for devices on other segments. See Discover your first device.
Configures devices from templates. Save a device's settings as a template, apply it to others, and see at a glance when a device has drifted from its template. See Configure your first device and Track config drift.
Updates firmware safely, with pre-flight checks before every upgrade, updates for a whole fleet in one go, optional automatic updates, and recovery for a device left in its bootloader. See Upgrade your first device's firmware and Recover a stuck ED device.
Keeps itself up to date, on a stable channel or a beta channel of your choosing, and ships with a command-line tool for scripting the same jobs. See Install BB-Eco.
